ForgeX 1.0

Template documentation.

ForgeX is a dependency-free multipurpose HTML template for industrial, manufacturing, engineering, construction, technology, agency, and premium-service websites. Open index.html directly or serve the folder with any static web server.

File structure & pages

Root HTML files contain the homepage, About, Services, Service Details, Projects, Project Details, Pricing, FAQ, Blog, Blog Single, Contact, and 404 pages. Shared production files live in assets/css, assets/js, assets/images, assets/fonts, and assets/icons. Documentation lives in this folder.

Editing text & images

Edit copy directly in each HTML file. Preserve semantic headings: one h1 per page, followed by ordered h2 and h3 sections. Replace images in assets/images or update each src; keep meaningful alt text, WebP compression, and dimensions close to the original crop.

Colors, variables & fonts

Global design tokens are at the top of assets/css/main.css. Change the graphite surfaces, copper accent, text colors, container width, gutters, and spacing there. Fonts are self-hosted via @font-face. Replace the WOFF2 files and family variables if changing typography.

Duplicating detail and article pages

Copy service-details.html, project-details.html, or blog-single.html and give the copy a descriptive filename. For a new article, replace the title, meta description, breadcrumb, category, date, author, hero, body, tags, and related links. Then change the matching article-card href in blog.html to the new filename.

Static pagination

The supplied blog is intentionally one listing page plus one reusable article-detail example. Its pagination area is a non-clicking component note, so it does not promise pages that do not exist. If the archive grows, duplicate blog.html as blog-2.html, blog-3.html, and so on; change each listing, then replace the note with real links whose current page is a non-linking span. A CMS or backend is not included.

Contact form behavior

The form performs accessible front-end validation only. It does not send email, store data, or include a backend. Connect it to your preferred secure server-side handler, form service, or CMS and update the disclosure before production use.

JavaScript

assets/js/main.js powers the mobile menu, sticky header, homepage service tabs, project filters, contact validation, and automatic year. All content remains readable without JavaScript except enhanced interactions.

Responsive behavior & browser support

Layouts recompose for desktop, tablet, and mobile through CSS media queries. ForgeX targets current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. It preserves browser zoom, visible focus, touch targets, semantic landmarks, native FAQ keyboard behavior, and reduced-motion preferences.

Assets & licenses

Rajdhani and Inter are redistributed under the SIL Open Font License; license files are included beside the fonts. Tabler icons are redistributed under the MIT license in assets/icons/TABLER-LICENSE.txt. Production photographs are original ForgeX assets with no embedded logos or third-party stock content.

Customization, updates & support

Keep a record of edits before replacing template files in a future update. Merge design-token and component changes selectively. Support covers supplied template structure and documented interactions; hosting, backend integrations, content entry, third-party services, and buyer-specific custom development are outside the base package.
